I have jumped into a new project. My mother is a quilter and has shared her love of crafts and busy hands with me. I love the feel of fabric and have decided to work on a "D" quilt. The quilt top will be completely sewn by hand - a huge undertaking and will be created by 3o flowers. My goal was 3 flowers a week but that may have been a little to ambitious. I have been enjoying trips to a variety of fabric stores to sift through remnants and deciding on colour combinations. These are a of pics of the flowers I have been working on.

Heh...I haven't quilted in forever. I have to be in the mood to quilt...and sew for that matter. Doesn't help that I have to lug the sewing machine out to sew.
I do love the flowers and fabric you've chosen. Twill be luverly :-)
